The Mage Academy needs a new Kitchen wing in CastleVille, and a series of ten new quests has been released that will see you building it. We’re here with a quick guide to finishing these quests, so let’s get started!
What’s Cooking?!
- Explore the Gloom
- Tend 6 Flowers
The Gloom requires 375,000 coins, 3,000 Castle Level, and 24 Exploration Crystals to unlock. You’ll receive 2,000 coins and 40 XP when you complete this quest.
Itchy and Scratchy
- Craft 1 Tickle Feather Talisman
- Collect 5 Honey
Honey comes from flowers, while a Tickle Feather Talisman is made using Rainbow Feathers, Green Feathers, Aquamarine and more. These items are used to “unlock” the Red Peppered items in the Mage Kitchen’s expansion. Different items require different amounts of Talismans, so prepare for a ton of work to unlock everything. Finishing this quest gives you 2,000 coins and 40 XP.
Banish Them Now
- Feed 5 Chickens
- Banish 3 Gloom Rats
- Craft 3 Caramel Popcorn
Remember, if you don’t have Gloom Rats available in your Kingdom, you can instantly summon them with Potions. The Caramel Popcorn, meanwhile, is made inside the regular Kitchen. Complete this quest and you’ll receive 2,000 coins and 40 XP.
Best Help
- Craft 2 Tickle Feather Talismans
- Have 3 Buckets and Mops
- Craft 3 Sticks of Butter
The Buckets and Mops are earned by posting a general request to your news feed for help, while the Sticks of Butter are made using Milk inside the Kitchen. Completing this quest gives you 2,500 coins and 50 XP.
Cleanliness Inspector
- Craft 1 Shepherd’s Pie
- Have 3 Pairs of White Gloves
The White Gloves come from another general news post on your feed, while the 
Shepherd’s Pie is made using items like Rubies and Peppers inside the Kitchen. Complete this quest to receive 2,500 coins and 50 XP.
What’s Happening?
- Craft 3 Tickle Feather Talismans
- Have 3 Bars of Soap
- Craft 2 Sweet Buns
Finishing this quest gives you 2,500 coins and 50 XP.
Crossed Wires
- Have 3 Cooking Pots
- Craft 3 Cloth Aprons
- Clear the Bell Peppers on the Mage Kitchen
The Cooking Pots are earned through yet another general news post placed on your wall. The Cloth Aprons are crafted inside the Studio, while the Mage Kitchen can be cleared by simply clicking on the item after you’ve collected enough Tickle Feather Talismans to actually clear it. Finishing this quest gives you 2,500 coins and 50 XP.
Curses, It’s Him!
- Craft 7 Tickle Feather Talismans
- Banish 2 Gloom Wolves
At this point, Fauggrim appears, so now you have to deal with him as well. Completing this quest gives you 3,250 coins and 65 XP.
Peacemaker
- Craft 5 Leather Aprons
- Have 6 Olive Branches
- Craft 5 Bottles of Champagne
The Olive Branches are earned by posting a general request to your news feed, while the Leather Aprons are made using items like Leather and Ropes inside the Studio. The Bottles of Champagne, meanwhile, are made inside the Kitchen using Pails of Water, Grapes, Bottles, and Sugar. When you finish this quest, you’ll receive 3,250 coins and 65 XP.
Decurdle That Kitchen
- Cast the Decurdle Spell
- Craft 1 Upside Down Cake
The Decurdle Spell requires five Bottles of Champagne, 1 Pail of Water, and five Alchemist Powders to craft. It’s used to turn things that taste horrible into something more edible. For the Upside Down Cake, you’ll need to make that in the Kitchen using items like Knives and Chocolate Covered Strawberries. When you finish this final quest in the series, you’ll receive 3,250 coins, 65 XP, and a Medieval Spice Stand for your Kingdom. Good luck!
